Have you seen how advertising and promotional materials are marketed? Surely, you have seen the kind of language they use? These are called action verbs in the grammar world. But for dental websites, these are calls-to-action. They basically tell a web visitor what to do once they land on the website. some examples are “Call Now,” “Contact Us To Learn More,” and “Visit Today.”

These phrases are the hook that every marketing material needs. It tells the web visitor what they should do next now that they have finished browsing through your homepage, reading the blogs, and even perusing the product page. These phrases can eventually turn a casual bypasser into a customer.

How about the forms? Are your dental websites using the right appointment and inquiry forms? Look, there’s nothing more annoying than having to fill up complicated forms that ask too many questions.

Here are the three things you need to remember about CTAs and inquiry forms:

Use Action Verbs

Action verbs, also called dynamic verbs, express an action either physically or mentally. For the purpose of a website’s CTA, that action should be physical—they have to call, visit, move the mouse to click on a link, and fill up a form to set an appointment. Strong language is more attractive to web visitors. Avoid using passive language if you want your visitors to take action upon browsing or landing on your website.

Make It Time Sensitive

When you make your CTAs time-sensitive, people are more likely to respond immediately. Give them a reason to call right now either by saying that the promotion is being offered for a limited time only or because there will be more discount when they call straight away. People are more likely to do the action you are persuading them to do when they are faced with a time-sensitive situation. Since they most likely are interested to make an appointment with you, the decision to sign up will be easier if there’s a limited-time discount offer.

Make The Forms Easy To Fill Out

Customers get scared away by forms that ask too many personal information. Make the forms simple and easy to fill out. Ask only the most basic of information such as their names, their email addresses, and their phone numbers. You don’t really have to know their addresses since you’re not going to visit their homes. All you need is a way to contact them (either their email address or their mobile phone number) to remind them about their appointments.
